The video for “Young Blood” by the New Zealand based The Naked and the Famous, could not be anymore perfectly matched to the song that inspired it. Fresh faced youth run around outside, jump in the air and on top of cars with admirable nimbleness, frolic in fields and amid fireworks, and succeed in painting a kind of gritty, super dreamy, and extremely romantic picture of being young in the music video. ”Young Blood,” a track off the debut album of The Naked and the Famous, Passive Me, Aggressive You, is an undeniable summer anthem with its driving drum beats, shiny synth, and spirited vocals—but this incredible song and album is definitely worth listening to year round.
